Post-Secondary (College) has taught me one thing since September, and that is find what you like and make it your focus. Otherwise you will hate all of the work you're doing.
Right now I am in a Media Foundations course, and to be quite honest I am not a fan of some of the tasks I have been assigned. One very clear example that I decided I wasn't a fan of was Journalism. I don't desire to dedicate my whole working life to writing news, and I would much rather work in a more technical setting like a movie set or even in post production.
Starting in Fall 2026, once my 1 year foundations course is done, I will be attending a Film School in hopes of getting more technical experience in roles like audio and video production rather than being public facing. Now I'm not saying you should follow the same path as me when choosing your post-secondary pathway, but if you aren't sure about where you want to end up, I would recommend taking a similar route to me and find your desired role in the vast media industry.
Here is an example of something that I enjoy doing, making video. This Vlog was for one of my classes and I had some fun while making it. I enjoy making faster paced videos, so this video was different for me because it is a little calmer/slower.
